MIW often draws inspiration from Slipknot, and Corey Taylor even makes a guest appearance on the album's best, but not the most interesting track. On the other hand, they attempt to engage the listener with similar techniques to, say, Babymetal. It's a once-unexpected blend of genres, where electronic beats blend into the fabric of modern metal. But that's all just window dressing; I miss more brutal vocals in the relevant sections and more interesting melodies. Still, this album is invigorating, and some tracks some tracks deserve repeated listening.
